Christopher Comstock

Chris Comstock is Vice President of Customer Safety for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the destination marketing organization for Las Vegas and Southern Nevada that also owns and operates the Las Vegas Convention Center, one of the largest convention centers in the United States. Chris oversees the organization’s Customer Safety Department.

Chris brings more than 18 years of law enforcement and senior-level operations management experience to his role. Prior to joining the LVCVA, Chris served as a Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified Criminal Investigator for the Nevada Attorney General’s office. He also held various positions with the New York State Police, ultimately retiring at the rank of Captain.

Chris’ extensive professional experience includes managing large-scale events and protests, conducting and overseeing complex criminal investigations, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Chris is a graduate of the 275th session of the FBI National Academy and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Excelsior University.
